Interjet Airlines has announced a new daily, nonstop service between Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and Guadalajara International Airport (GDL).
“Chicago is a growing and very important market for travel to Guadalajara,” said José Luis Garza, Interjet’s chief executive officer. “We’re delighted to be able to offer business and leisure travelers everywhere we fly.” he added.
Interjet’s new service between Chicago and Guadalajara will start February 16 and operate using Airbus A320 aircraft seating 150 passengers. Round trip promotional fares from Chicago to Guadalajara will start at $228, taxes included. This special fare with be available until April 17, 2018, and valid for trips through April 30, 2018. Promotional fares are not available to groups nor can they be used with other promotional fares.
Interjet is an international airline based in Mexico City providing air service to 53 destinations in eight countries, including 34 cities in Mexico. Its international network includes service to nine U.S. markets: Chicago, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Orlando/Sanford and San Antonio. Other international routes include Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver, Canada; Havana, Santa Clara and Varadero, Cuba; Bogota, Colombia; Guatemala City; Guatemala; Lima, Peru; and San Jose, Costa Rica. The airlines operates a fleet of more than 79 aircraft including three Airbus A320neos, 47 Airbus A320’s, six Airbus A321s, one Airbus A321neo and 22 Superjet 100s.
