JetBlue plans to continue expanding across the U.S. and the Caribbean, including the launch of two new routes, bringing more flights to customers in the airline’s New York, Boston, Orlando and Los Angeles focus cities.
Launching later this year, JetBlue will offer nonstop flights to two new destinations from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK): Robert Llewellyn Bradshaw International Airport (SKB) in St. Kitts and Nevis and Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport (BZE) in Belize City, Belize.
JetBlue is also set to launch service between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS) in Nassau, Bahamas; Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and Maurice Bishop International Airport (GND) in Grenada; and Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) in North Carolina.
With JetBlue’s entry into St. Kitts and Nevis and Belize, the airline will now operate in 27 countries within the region. JetBlue will now serve 29 countries from JFK and will offer an average of up to 192 departures per day during peak periods.
The service from JFK to St. Kitts will begin on November 2. JetBlue will offer thrice weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Flight 2967 will depart from New York at 8:29 p.m., landing in St. Kitts at 2:14 p.m. Flight 2968 will leave at 3:30 p.m., reaching New York at 7 p.m. Additionally, service from New York’s JFK to Belize City is set to launch on December 6. JetBlue will offer three weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Flight 2781 will depart at 8:29 a.m. from New York, landing in Belize at 12:14 p.m. Flight 2784 will leave at 1:30 p.m., landing in New York at 7 p.m. The airline will be the only operator on this route.
The carrier currently offers daily nonstop service from New York’s JFK to GND. With JetBlue’s introduction into Grenada, the airline will be flying an average of 137 daily departures from this focus city in November. JetBlue recently bolstered its service to Grenada increasing the capacity of its regular daily service, from an A320 to the 200-seater A321, for the entire summer peak period, June 15 to September 5. Additionally, with “Spicemas,” the destination’s biggest cultural event on the horizon, the airline will increase its service to a second daily nonstop flight from August 7 to September 1.
JetBlue’s new daily service connecting Orlando to Raleigh begins November 2, 2023. By the end of 2023, JetBlue will be serving 26 nonstop destinations and will offer an average of 57 departures per day from Orlando.
Launching November 4, JetBlue will offer the only service between Boston and the Caribbean island of Grenada, featuring the airline’s premium Mint service. The new service will be JetBlue’s second route to Grenada. The flight departs BOS at 8 a.m. and arrives at GND at 1:43 p.m. The return flight departs at 3:03 p.m. and arrives at BOS at 7:04 p.m.
JetBlue is also advancing its focus city strategy at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) with the introduction of a new international route. JetBlue will become the first airline to serve Nassau with nonstop service from Los Angeles. The new route will offer customers JetBlue’s Mint service. Following the launch of Nassau, JetBlue will operate service between Los Angeles and 20 nonstop destinations and offer more than 40 peak daily departures.
Due to increased demand for travel to Curaçao, JetBlue has launched two additional direct flights to the destination from JFK in New York. Flights will now be offered from JFK to Curaçao International Airport five times a week, Thursday through Monday, departing at 8 a.m. and arriving at 1:25 p.m.
To celebrate the launch, for a limited time, travelers can avail of special $59, $149, $159 and $179 one-way fares for flights on these new routes.
