JetBlue is doubling down on South Florida with another significant expansion at Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport (FLL), where the airline is already the number one carrier. Beginning in November, JetBlue will roll out service to nine new destinations across the U.S., Latin America and the Caribbean, bringing its schedule to a record 113 peak daily departures—the largest in the airline’s history at FLL.
“As the top airline in Fort Lauderdale, with more departures than any other carrier on peak travel days, JetBlue is proud to keep raising the bar for customers in South Florida and to continue bringing them to the places they want to go,” said Dave Jehn, JetBlue’s vice president, network planning and airline partnerships, in a statement. “By adding new routes and expanding service to top destinations, we’re giving travelers more opportunities to enjoy the comfort, quality service and value that sets JetBlue apart.”
New Destinations From Fort Lauderdale
Starting in November, JetBlue plans to launch nonstop service to:
- Cali, Colombia (CLO) – pending government approval
- Aruba (AUA)
- Cartagena, Colombia (CTG)
- Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands (GCM)
- Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR)
- New Orleans (MSY)
- Pittsburgh (PIT)
- San Pedro Sula, Honduras (SAP)
- St. Maarten (SXM)
“With the addition of seven international and two domestic routes from FLL, this gives South Floridians more convenient and cost-effective ways to visit and enjoy these cities, whether traveling for business or leisure,” said Mark E. Gale, FLL CEO/director of aviation.
More Flights to Popular Destinations
Alongside the new service, JetBlue will also increase frequencies to nine existing destinations, including Atlanta, Boston, Cancún, San Juan and Santiago in the Dominican Republic.
To celebrate the expansion, JetBlue is offering fares starting at $113 or less from Fort Lauderdale to any of the 46 nonstop destinations it will serve this fall.
A Long-Term Commitment to South Florida
Fort Lauderdale was JetBlue’s first destination 25 years ago, and today remains a cornerstone of the airline’s East Coast leisure network. In 2025 alone, JetBlue has announced or launched 17 new routes from FLL.
The airline also plans to open a dedicated Mint base for in-flight crewmembers in early 2026, underscoring its commitment to premium service and continued growth in the South Florida market.
With the latest expansion, JetBlue strengthens its position as the leading airline at Fort Lauderdale, offering unmatched connectivity across the Americas and the Caribbean.
