Korean Air Adds Flights From Four Major U.S. Cities

Korean Air has announced plans to expand on the U.S West Coast and to strengthen its relationship with SkyTeam partner, Delta, in 2017 and beyond.

The airline plans to increase the number of Korean Air flights from Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Las Vegas and create an expanded network between the U.S. and Asia through its Delta partnership.

By June, Korean Air will operate almost 50 flights a week from the West Coast including 19 from Los Angeles, 14 from San Francisco beginning September, seven from Seattle and five from Las Vegas.

The airline has also improved its schedules for easy connections to Singapore, China, Vietnam, Japan and other destinations in Southeast Asia, said the airline’s Vice President John Jackson in a written statement.

Korean Air also will enlarge its Delta network, offering Delta customers access to more than 30 markets in Asia beyond Seoul, and Korean Air customers more than 150 markets in the Americas.

“Delta will be putting its code on our flight from Houston, San Francisco and dozens of destinations beyond Seoul served by Korean Air,” Jackson said.
