Delta is bringing premium lounge experience to West Coast customers with the opening of the Delta One Lounge at LAX. Next door to the Delta Sky Club at Terminal 3, Delta’s second Delta One Lounge—with seating for nearly 200 guests—is directly connected to the Delta One check-in for a completely private ground experience.
Guests can enjoy service-led dining from every seat. The lounge will offer a rotating menu of elevated dishes like crispy duck tacos, pan-roasted salmon and roasted corn pizza. A year-round sushi bar—an LAX exclusive—is available, as well. The lounge also offers a rotating selection of location-themed Bento boxes with items from Paris, Tokyo, and Boston—all LAX Delta One destinations. Guests can additionally enjoy “Destination Libations,” with signature cocktails represented by airport codes. A selection of desserts will be available, too, from central multi-tiered table.
LAX Delta One Lounge also has a wellness room, complete with eight private relaxation pods equipped with zero-gravity chairs and full-body massage chairs. Specialty lamp lighting in the wellness area mimics the light colors affecting the body’s circadian rhythms, helping the body get acclimated to the time zone to which a guest will be flying.
Tip: A regularly refreshed menu of wellness-themed drinks is available, as is a rolling wellness cart offering spa water, refreshing towels and product samples from Grown Alchemist.
Other details about the space: Lighting throughout the lounge, including the wall lighting in the library lounge and dining room, are a nod to the glamour of old Hollywood. Details like the fluted walnut paneling and oculus-inspired ceilings reflect L.A.’s architectural history, from Modernism to Art Deco. The landscaped terrace, which offers seating for 26, includes pillows furnished by Delta One luxury brand partner Missoni. Vases, pillows and coffee table books in the library lounge area also bear the signature mark of the Italian fashion house. Lounge artwork, including artists from the United States, Philippines, South Africa, Haiti, Japan and more, represents the global reach of the hub.
Delta offers nearly 160 peak-day departures out of LAX to nearly 60 domestic and international locations. Coming in time for ski season (December 21, 2024 to March 30, 2025), Delta is bringing back daily flights to Bozeman (BZN) and Vail (EGE), plus new Saturday service to Sun Valley. These new offerings expand on existing daily flights to Jackson Hole and year-round Aspen service. Plus, starting this December, customers will be able to fly to Brisbane, Australia, as part of Delta’s largest-ever winter schedule to the South Pacific.
