Sit down and wait for your group number to be called before you rush the gate, because The Points Guy released its list of the best airlines in America.
The media platform released its ninth annual Best Airlines Report, crowning Delta Air Lines as the best airline in America for the seventh straight year, according to a release.
The Points Guy used four categories to determine the winners of the rankings: reliability, experience, cost and reach, and loyalty. While Delta didn’t get the highest scores in all categories, it did prove to have consistently high scores in all four, winning it the top slot. It’s a significant achievement, particularly considering the Crowdstrike outage last year that led to thousands of flight cancellations.
Delta’s first-place win was followed by United Airlines at number two, while Southwest Airlines rounded out the top three. Alaska Airlines came in at number four, and Hawaiian Airlines closed out the top five.
