Railbookers, a Yankee Leisure Group (YLG) brand, has announced a partnership with Eurostar, the high-speed train that directly links the UK to France, Belgium and the Netherlands, with connections to over 100 other destinations in Europe.
The new partnership offers 46 new, customized itineraries featuring a Eurostar journey. Railbookers said the new vacations were launched in response to growing demand for independent, customized rail travel throughout the continent.
In a written statement YLG President Frank Marini said that the company has seen record growth in the U.S. market for independent, customizable rail travel in Europe.
This trend is not only being seen with the brand’s core demographic but also with Gen Xers and Millennials, Railbookers said. According to Statista, approximately 30 million Americans traveled to Europe in 2017, with more than 600,000 of those visitors traveling onboard Eurostar.
Along with this partnership, Eurostar Vacations by Railbookers is also launching a 2019 brochure, which has more than 46 new products offering a variety of ways to discover the best of Europe and beyond.
A few product highlights include London, Paris and Munich and London, Amsterdam and Berlin, a never before featured combo of three of Europe’s most popular cities. Then there’s London and the Cote d’ Azur, which takes guests across the French countryside to the Mediterranean coastline. In addition, London, Paris and Bordeaux takes advantage of a new high-speed line to the Bordeaux wine-growing region in France.
Clients can board a Eurostar train in London and travel to more than 100 European destinations, including those in Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, and Germany on a single booking via transfers in direct city center terminals. Every product is customizable and can also be experienced in reverse, Railbookers said.
For travel agents, Railbookers also said that there is the ability to book 18 months ahead of time and the opportunity to earn higher commission.
Eurostar Vacations by Railbookers is offering $300 off per couple on any six to seven-night vacation or $500 off per couple on any eight-plus-night vacation for any new bookings made by November 2, 2018, for travel in 2019.
