Railbookers has announced a new strategic alliance with Italy’s national rail system, Trenitalia. With the new alliance, Railbookers introduced ‘Trenitalia Vacations by Railbookers,’ which combines the Italian train network’s extensive and high-speed rail system with Railbookers’ range of planned, customizable vacation packages.
Trenitalia Vacations by Railbookers launched a 2019 brochure to showcase its top Italian vacation packages, including some of Railbookers’ popular itineraries like Venice via the Alps and Venice, Florence and Rome. The lineup includes several new packages, such as The Italian Lakes, which features stays in Lake Como, Lake Garda and Lake Maggiore, and Gastronomic Capitals of Italy, including stops in major culinary destinations like Bologna and Parma. Other packages, including Venice and the Bernina Express and Rome via the Alps, combine travel through Italy with a journey through the Swiss Alps.
Trenitalia operates thousands of trains every day, connecting all of Italy and providing international connections to Switzerland, France, Germany and Austria. Its Italy service extends to every major city, including Rome, Venice, Florence and Milan via high-speed lines. The rail operator also serves more than 200 regional destinations, such as Lake Como, Cinque Terre, Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast, through intercity and regional lines.
Railbookers is a tour operator that specializes in independent rail vacations. It provides planned trips throughout Europe, the United States, Canada and more.
