The Atlanta airport reports that it is continuing to observe and track the wintry weather, and a number of airlines have already issued flight change and cancellation waivers for customers scheduled to fly to, from or through Atlanta.
American Airlines customers set to fly today can rebook through December 11 between the same city pair in the same cabin (or pay the difference).
Customers on Delta can also rebook through December 11, with the new ticket to be reissued on or before that date.
United Airlines is allowing customers to rebook through December 11 as long as travel is rescheduled in the originally ticketed cabin between the same city pair.
Similarly, JetBlue is allowing customers to rebook through December 11, or customers with cancelled flights can opt for a refund to the original form of payment.
Finally, customers on Southwest Airlines can rebook in the original class of service or travel standby within 14 days of their original date of travel between the original city pair.
Looking ahead, snow is headed to much of New England and parts of the mid-Atlantic over the weekend, Accuweather reports. Major airlines have not yet issued any waivers for this area.
