D-EDGE Hospitality Solutions has been chosen by Accor to provide the central reservation system (CRS) for its 5,300 hotels worldwide. As part of the agreement, Accor will implement an enriched platform across its properties—the D-EDGE next-generation CRS—that can address new challenges in hospitality. Comprehensive and easy to use, the D-EDGE CRS enables quick adoption with fast learning curves, while being open to the entire hotel tech ecosystem—PMS, RMS, distributors and any future new players—and is cloud-based to ensure maximum agility.
D-EDGE’s open CRS offers direct connectivity to over 550 third parties and distributors worldwide. With its open API and connectivity expertise, D-EDGE will enable Accor to leverage all distribution capabilities and to offer its hotels the solutions and distributors best suited to the region, brand or category of service.
D-EDGE will continue to invest significantly in R&D: both on the platform technology, and to scale up its developer and usability teams to produce a UX-focused, easy-to-use platform. These developments serve the same purpose of empowering hotel teams to offer the best experience to their guests.
D-EDGE, a 100 percent subsidiary of Accor, currently operates the TARS platform, and will progressively deploy its new-generation CRS to all Accor hotels worldwide ensuring an optimized distribution to the Accor hoteliers. This agreement, which extends D-EDGE’s client base from 12,000-plus to 17,000-plus hotels worldwide, strengthens its growth within the global hospitality industry and its capacity to serve bigger chains.
