ALG Vacations (ALGV) has announced the launch of ALGVPro Active, a new refresher course designed to keep travel advisors informed on the latest updates and enhancements since the original ALGVPro program debut in 2022. This course covers new programs and booking tools that are essential for daily operations.
ALGVPro is ALGV’s self-paced, on-demand online education program for travel advisors to learn and engage in its destinations, products, brands, services and more. ALGVPro Active does not require advisors to revisit past courses. Instead, it focuses on short modules covering new updates since their last certification.
Being ALGVPro-certified offers travel advisors numerous rewards, including eligibility for FAM trips, prizes, and the opportunity to earn up to five Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from The Travel Institute plus two additional CEUs upon ALGVPro Active completion. The course format allows advisors to focus on the most relevant topics and complete the training at their convenience.
Note: Graduates of ALGVPro prior to October 1, 2024, will retain ALGVPro certification status and benefits for 2025, with completion of ALGVPro Active course. Advisors can complete the course any time before October 1, 2025, but it's important to note that benefits—including eligibility for prizes and FAM trips—will pause starting January 1, 2025, until certification is achieved. Advisors who recertify by the end of this year will continue to enjoy the full range of ALGVPro perks without interruption. New graduates after October 1, 2024, do not need to enroll in ALGVPro Active.
