Amadeus Integrates Cirium’s Flight Data to Ease Searches and Bookings

Amadeus has integrated Cirium’s advanced flight schedules data into its Travel Platform solutions, enriching the available dataset for flight and search bookings, expanding the decade-long partnership between the two companies. By adding this information from the aviation analytics company, Amadeus will be able to offer an enhanced search and booking experience for its clients in the travel space, including airlines, travel providers and more.

According to Cirium CEO Jeremy Bowen, the partnership will “improve flight search and bookings, as well as enable the industry to unlock new market opportunities, maximize revenue and produce a more efficient experience for the traveler.”

Sam Abdou, executive vice president, air, rail and global online, Amadeus, added that Cirium’s further integration of its data into its multi-sourced air schedules data platform means Amadeus will now have higher data accuracy and added “bookability” for customers.

Amadeus builds solutions that help airlines and airports, hotels and railways, search engines, travel agencies, tour operators and other travel players to run their operations and improve the travel experience. Cirium’s advanced schedules database covers over 900 airlines globally and all aircraft types. One of Cirium’s leading schedules analytics products, Cirium Diio Mi, covers 97 percent of all worldwide airline scheduled flights going back 20 years and looking forward by 11 months.
