Christy Bartlett, owner of Daydream Cruise and Travel, has been named the winner of Nexion Travel Group's Ambassador Award, which was announced at the travel host agency's annual conference, CoNexion.
The Ambassador Award honors an individual member of Nexion who best represents the spirit of the host agency in his or her work. The travel advisor, selected from Nexion member and staff nominations, embraces Nexion’s programs and tools, is a top seller of travel, consistently books and supports Nexion’s preferred partners, regularly attends Nexion events, and is an active advocate for travel and travel advisors.
Based in Round Rock, TX, Bartlett has been a member of Nexion Travel Group since 2014; she is also a graduate of Travel Leaders of Tomorrow and came to travel after supporting her family as a stay-at-home parent. She quickly rose to become a successful travel advisor and gives back to Nexion by acting as a Network Leader of the Austin Nexion Network group.
Bartlett received numerous nominations for the 2023 Ambassador Award. “Christy has proven to be a huge source of help to me as a new Nexion travel agent,” said one nominator. “She is always willing to give her valuable time to share her expertise and knowledge.”
Another wrote: “Christy has a depth of knowledge of most booking tools from most suppliers. She does a great job of organizing and implementing meet-ups for the Austin Nexion Network. And she is very active on many supplier Facebook groups, answering questions and giving quality guidance.”
Nexion Travel Group President Jackie Friedman also commented on Bartlett: “Christy is so well-respected throughout the industry. She is someone who is equally a teacher and a student. Her knowledge base and desire to help others has led her to grow her agency to a highly successful business. More than that, she is an advocate for our industry, and a trusted advisor to her clients.”
