Just in time for engagement season, the Empire State Building has launched “Happily Ever Empire,” a proposal package that provides couples with VIP access to the Observatory Experience. Ticket holders are invited to pop the question at a prime, dedicated corner of the building’s iconic, open-air 86th-floor Observatory and pop a bottle of champagne to celebrate the memorable moment.
The exclusive package—priced at $1,000 per couple—includes a private guided tour through the Empire State Building’s immersive exhibits, which showcase the building’s history and the classic love stories that have taken place within. After couples have celebrated their engagement on the 86th-floor Observatory, they’re invited to head up to the 102nd-floor Observatory, which has floor-to-ceiling windows with 360-degree views offering an opportunity to take breathtaking photos.
Tickets are available at www.esbnyc.com. One must be at least 21 years old to purchase.
The “Happily Ever Empire” package must be booked at least 24 hours in advance, with limited reservations available each day. Photographers, family and friends must purchase Express tickets separately to take part in the celebration.
The Empire State Building’s Observatory Experience recently underwent a top-to-bottom overhaul that includes a dedicated guest entrance, a 10,000-square-foot digital and tactile museum and the completely re-imagined 102nd-floor Observatory.
