Expedia Group is bringing tours and attractions into its travel agent platform, starting with a small group of agencies in the U.K.

Select U.K. agencies using Expedia TAAP, the company’s Travel Agent Affiliate Program, can now book activities from Tiqets, the attractions and museum ticketing platform Expedia Group recently acquired. The beta organizes those activities so agents can find a fitting option quickly while building a trip, the company said Thursday. Expedia did not say when the feature will reach TAAP agencies in the U.S. or other markets.

“It allows us to spend less time searching, more time focusing on travelers,” said Liam Brophy, commercial manager at beta partner Flights Guru.

The company’s B2B arm is also extending its Rapid API, the technology that lets partners sell Expedia inventory on their own sites, beyond lodging. A new Rapid Activities API is in beta with select partners and gives them access to attractions, museums, tours, and experiences, including Tiqets inventory. General availability is planned for early 2027.

Both launches feed Expedia’s push to keep an entire trip on one platform. The company’s own research found that 77% of travelers want to book their travel in one place, said Stephen Cheng, vice president of Expedia Group B2B.

Peter Friend, CEO of beta partner Global Hotel Card, said the order in which travelers book is changing as well.

“Activities aren’t an afterthought anymore,” Friend said. “Booking the activity is increasingly becoming the starting point, and then travelers book the flight and hotel around them.”
