The ID Travel Group and CARIBTOURS Announce Merger

The ID Travel Group and CARIBTOURS, a U.K. and Ireland-based tour operator specializing in bespoke luxury holidays, have announced their strategic merger effective, January 2024. 

As a result of this, Paul Cleary, CEO of CARIBTOURS has joined the board of ID Travel as a partner and has been appointed chief commercial officer, alongside of Maurice Bonham-Carter, founder and chief executive officer; Laurie Palumbo, partner and chief operating officer and Padu Padmanaban, partner and chief financial officer. 

This merger combines ID Travel Group’s 40 years of experience selling four- and five-star luxury vacation destinations in the Americas, South Pacific, Africa and Asia and CARIBTOURS’ 45 years of expertise in crafting personalized holidays to the Caribbean, Indian Ocean, Arabia and Europe. The combined entity will leverage the strengths of both organizations to provide a broader array of exclusive travel options, superior customer service, and enhanced buying power to service its affluent clientele.
