Lush Experiences "Revamps" FAM Trip Experiences

Lush Experiences says it is transforming the standard FAM trip by offering creatively themed, immersive journeys to its  portfolio of luxury hotels, in collaboration with its DMC partners. To introduce this new approach, Lush Experiences has rebranded the traditional FAM trip as "Preferred Advisor Curated Experiences" (PACE).

Regarding the update, Lush Experiences co-founder Brad Beaty said, "We’ve come to realize things should be done more effectively and successfully by slowing the pace and focusing our trips on specific niches, themes or travel trends. Our aim is to have travel advisors return home from a PACE trip having specific clients in mind who would love the exact same experience."

The new program’s goal is to have advisors substantially immersed in the properties and destinations they are visiting so they can return home and share the curated itinerary with their clients and re-create something similar for them.

In one example, Lush recently hosted a parent/child bonding trip experience to France that highlighted two of its properties, Hotel Royal Evian Resort and ParisHotel Grand Powers. On this trip, advisors who are also parents were invited to bring one child to accompany them. Advisors got a firsthand view of a whole new type of trip they can design for specific clients. The children enjoyed the lake, mountains and the five-star properties' specialized kids programming. Other bonding activities included hiking, cooking classes and a parent/child spa day experience along with family golfing. While in Paris, family-friendly activities were took advantage of the urban setting, including Louvre Museum and Opera Garnier tours curated to cater to both the parent and child.

On the romance front, Lush is currently planning the "Love Is an Adventure" PACE for a limited number of advisors. This trip is being coordinated with DMC Deluxe France, with its Paris hotels leading the development. Lush will offer these advisors and their spouses a specially curated experience, including Michelin-star dining, private art showings, personalized style consultations with expert shoppers, a luxurious couples' spa experience, and accommodations at the Grand Hotel Du Palais Royal (the backdrop to Netflix’s “Emily in Paris”).

Future themes being considered are Master Chefs, Wine Connoisseurs, Fashion Designers, Sport Specific adventures, and Wellness Lifestyle Curators.
