MAST Travel Network has announced Margaret Campbell to the newly created position of vice president.
In her role as vice president of MAST, she will assist President & COO John Werner, assisting with Board and Committee matters, representing MAST at industry affairs, conducting member trainings sessions at events, office manager to the staff, contributing to sales, marketing, and event initiatives, working with the department directors on the execution of projects, and providing members support and problem resolution on bookings issues.
Werner said, “We are very excited to have this new position at MAST Headquarters and to have Margaret in this role. She is a great addition to MAST and know that our members and suppliers will love working with her.”
For the past six years, Campbell has been the senior director of marketing at Mayflower Cruises & Tours. In this role, she managed teams of people in both the marketing department and distribution center. She has been responsible for creating and managing meetings and events in her current role and previous roles outside of the industry. Campbell has helped direct Mayflower's North America marketing strategy, managing consortium relationships, budgeting, and contract negotiations. She is familiar with MAST’s members and understands the needs of the agency community.
She joins a dynamic team, leading professionals under both the membership department, led by Director of Membership & Industry Affairs, Stephanie Werner, and the Marketing and Supplier department, led by Director of Marketing & Supplier Relations, Donna Zizek. With MAST’s membership growing from 11 states to 18 states across the country since 2019 and growing preferred supplier portfolio, MAST feels it has a high-value proposition and is positioned for growth.
