Matthew Smith Is Appointed CEO of Destination Asia

Destination Asia has announced that Matthew Smith has been appointed as the new CEO of the destination management company (DMC) specializing in East and Southern Asia based operations. Smith succeeds Monique Arnoux and will take on his new role on August 1, 2024.

Smith has been part of Destination Asia since his appointment in 2018, supporting the key sectors of meetings and events, customized travel experiences and cruise. He has helped strengthen Destination Asia’s footprint and has been pivotal in driving innovation and growth within the company.
