Luxury tour operator Scott Dunn has announced the appointment of two new travel consultants in its San Diego, California headquarters. Jonathan Brunger has joined the team as the senior travel consultant for Latin American and Stephanie McClendon as its European travel consultant, both with immediate effect.
The news comes as Scott Dunn USA continues to expand its team of travel experts to meet the demand and increase in enquiries from travelers around the country. With the appointment of Brunger and McClendon, the Scott Dunn USA team now has eight travel advisors. Both will bring their combined decades of experience and expertise to every itinerary they plan for Scott Dunn guests.
John Spence, president of Scott Dunn USA, said in a press release, “We are thrilled to welcome both Jonathan and Stephanie to our highly experienced team of destination experts. Their roles will be integral to the growth of Scott Dunn USA and we have no doubt that their decades of experience will only serve to complement our existing offerings.”
Brunger has been working in the travel industry for more than 17 years, and specializes in customer service and sales. At a young age, he served in the United States Peace Corps in the Ivory Coast in West Africa. More recently, he was the general manager and operations director at Adventure Life for 13 years, where he oversaw the operations of the adventure travel company and is said to have helped grow their revenue exponentially.
McClendon has over eight years of experience planning, selling, executing events and travel in the hospitality industry. She brings her extensive background as a travel and operations director to Scott Dunn. Serving as a sales manager, tour product and operations manager at Florence For Fun, McClendon led trip execution and implemented strategic plans as part of her daily work.
