Travel Leaders Unveils New Training, Alliances, Advisor Tools

Travel Leaders Network is offering members a range of educational programs to help advisors expand their knowledge and build their business.

Getting Back to Business” is the theme the Travel Leaders education department has chosen for 2022, and the company’s webinars, in-person seminars, targeted classes and other learning opportunities are designed to support the advisor during this time of rebuilding and renewal in travel. Educational opportunities for members include: The Trusted Travel Advisor series, a three-part course; six specialist certifications; a five-day intensive series on how travel advisors can market themselves, their agency and their services; year-round webinars; a downloadable program for host agencies; and in-person learning at EDGE and 2022 Regionals.

The EDGE conference alone has over 200 workshops held over a four-day span, including: Mental health speakers; DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion); hybrid workforce; business skills; and destination immersion sessions, to name a few.

Travel Leaders has also made additions to its Leaders Alliance groups with three new alliances, bringing the total number to five. The three new alliances for 2022 are: Honeymoon & Destination Weddings Leaders Alliance, Technology Leaders Alliance and Building Better, an alliance focusing on improving growth and profitability for mid-size agencies. Each alliance is led by a subject matter expert from Travel Leaders Network.

The Honeymoon & Destination Weddings Leaders Alliance will serve advisors who do a heavy volume of romance travel and are seeking new ways to grow their business. The Technology Leaders Alliance is for owners and managers of agencies who are on the leading edge of adapting new technology. The Building Better Alliance provides strategies and ideas to sustainably grow and scale businesses, while networking with other travel agencies of the same size.

Additionally, Travel Leaders Network's lead-generation tool, Agent Profiler, has unveiled new options that travel advisors can use to attract new clients and manage their business. Agent Profiler offers a new “Super Agent” designation—a badge visible to TravelLeaders.com users. Super Agents will have a higher ranking in searches, making it easier for potential clients to find them. Their Super Agent badge will also show users that they are a top advisor and trusted expert.

Super Agents will receive the designation based on performance criteria including detailed profiles, levels of expertise and positive customer reviews. All Agent Profiler users have the ability to become Super Agents, and there is no cost to the advisor.

Travel Leaders has made additional enhancements to Agent Profiler over the past year, including:

  • “Virtual Appointment Call to Action”, an option that allows travelers to schedule video appointments with advisors
  • “Remote Agent Location”, the ability for work-from-home advisors to set their location to be different from their agency physical office location
  • “Independent Contractor Branding” for independent contractors to feature their local agency brand on their published profile
  • “Lead Pause”, a functionality that allows advisors to toggle on or off their availability for accepting new leads
