American Marketing Group Inc. (AMG), the parent company of 18 travel and hospitality brands, including TRAVELSAVERS, has announced plans to expand its preferred hotel program with a new leadership team under the direction of recently appointed Senior Vice President of Hotel Programs Samantha Jones.
In a written statement AMG COO Jim Mazza said that the company’s portfolio currently spans 30,000 hotels worldwide.
Jones most recently led North American sales for Carlson Wagonlit Travel's hotel distribution division, RoomIt by CWT. She has also held roles at Radisson Hotel Group, IHG and Millennium Hotels and Resorts. At AMG, she has full oversight of the preferred hotel program and is responsible for advisor outreach and supplier relationships, including accommodation and content providers.
Rounding out the leadership team is strategic marketing professional Senior Director Trisha Hall and business development executive Jeffrey Kerzman, both alumni of travel services company THOR, Inc.
Jones noted that one major focus for her will be growing discretionary business in the small to mid-size company sector, which she says have been underserved by corporate travel management.
In addition to TRAVELSAVERS, AMG is also the parent company of Agent 24, Travel Helpline, Forte Global, NEST and The Affluent Traveler Collection. AMG was founded in 1970 by Rick Mazza.
